Can we all talk about how:
- Deaton knew about the sacrifice that happened on the Nematon with Paige
- Deaton knew about Jennifer, how she survived and her possible reappearance as the darach
- Deaton knew about the history and power given to the nematon through the virginal sacrifice of Paige
" Are you actually worried about Crowley?
Sam in 9x16
(I think the answer here is yes. Because Crowley and Dean are gravitating towards each other. Dean has taken the Mark of Cain - a demonic symbol - whereas Crowley is now hooked on human blood. Dean is being drawn into a darker, sinister mindset and Crowley starts to care for more than just himself… they’re both becoming something else, both seemingly meeting each other halfway as they’re both still incomplete, still looking for something, still wandering within the unknown… Crowley’s words in 8x23 ring true for Dean as well: “I deserve to be loved" - there was desperation in Crowley’s voice, so much regret and pain. Does Dean think he deserves to be loved? Probably not. But he wants to be loved. He needs to be loved. I bet he’s been screaming it with the same kind of desperation inside his head, over and over. I think both Dean and Crowley are starting to care for the other because they’re beginning to recognize traces of themselves in each other. So the question is, is it ‘each other’ they resonate with or is it sympathy for their own story they see reflected in the other? Which would also mean that Dean being worried about Crowley is Dean being worried about himself… only he can’t see it that way because ‘nobody hates Dean more than Dean does’. It would mean that, deep down, Dean feels he deserves sympathy. He deserves forgiveness. He deserves to be loved. (and it hurts to watch because who’s to say he ‘deserves’? Who’s to say he doesn’t? Who’s the judge here? It’s just… incredibly messed-up. And I wonder, when will it end? How will it end?))
I don't really like rats. They're gross. Rats are like the rats of the world.
You need to go be gay for that poor dead intern.

like okay the ghostfacers lied and kept secrets! secrets bad! this is a useful and interesting parallel. sure. but on the other hand we are not living in a world where ed was raised as a ghostfacer from age four and had been taught his whole life that his #1 job was to protect harry at all costs and he should shove his own personal ideas about happiness down his own internal garbage disposal
